General Questions

  • Drop-in inserts are pre-assembled containers of plants that are easily placed inside a larger container. Our inserts are extremely sturdy and environmentally friendly, as they compost over time when thrown away.

  • No, the plants and insert are yours to dispose of. If you purchased a container through us, that is yours to keep.

  • Absolutely, yes. Be sure to watch this video on how to measure your container and determine which size of drop-in insert works best for you. If you purchase a planter insert and it does not fit your own container, I will not provide a refund.

  • Container gardens are a vibe. Some people like to bundle in threes and others just like one in a corner. The choice is always yours. You can pick and choose inserts and containers to your heart’s content. If there is a combination you’d like to use but don’t see it in the Shop, send me an email and you can talk me through your vision.

  • I am thrilled to showcase unique designs with you every season. The plant selection process is carefully curated to align with the season so I do not offer customizations with the standard drop-in inserts.

However, I offer a full custom service where I can tailor a garden to meet your specific needs. I would be delighted to learn more about your vision and create a container garden that exceeds your expectations based on your ideas and input.

Plant Care

  • Email me a photo and let me take a look. We provide watering and care instructions with each purchase. We do not provide refunds for improper watering, insect infestation, or damage caused by dogs/deer/squirrels. We want you to be happy. Let’s try to figure out what is going on together.

  • Water right at the dirt level or at the base of the plant with a watering can or slow flowing hose. Never water from the top of the plant.

A general rule is to water for about 45 seconds with slow flow garden hose or use about 2 gallons of water with a watering can. Water around the edges and then at the center to ensure everything takes a good drink.

  • If you lost your printed care instructions and deleted the email sent upon delivery of your insert, email us and we’ll get you the care instructions specific to your order.

Custom Options

  • Sure! Email yvette@edenrosebotanicals.com for a free, one-time email consultation. This is a light-touch service to give you an idea of how we can help your achieve your vibe. If you’d like Yvette to come onsite for a formal consult, the fee is $50. If you proceed with the project, the $50 is waived.

  • Our limit is our own creativity with a custom garden.

You might want a collection of six containers around your pool area but only want two of the six containers refreshed seasonally. You might want to plant trees and shrubs in containers and not flowering plants.

Alternatively, you might have a large rooftop patio where you’d like long-form containers to create a wall between you and your neighbors. You might want a sea of rose bushes in containers along your fence line.

With a custom & personalized experience, you walk me through your vision and I’ll do my absolute best to make it happen for you.
